Sharing my Experience: What a terrible experience with this dealership, the salesman J*******, and sales manager C***. We had a deal on a Saturday. The deal included 2 oil changes, this was offered because C*** sales manager said he could not go lower on price but could add some extras. On Monday I was going to wire money to buy the vehicle. Guess what, 1 oil change offered disappeared. Also all the said FREE provided title work needed to register the car in another state disappeared. Here is the Grand Finally. Just after signing the contract via Doc U Sign I was told the vehicle had already been sold. These folks cannot be trusted. They confirm that Car Sales is in top 2 sleazy businesses. If they are taking do not expect the truth.

Took my 2021 Ford Ranger there for a complementary brake inspection that ford was offering because my truck was shaking bad when breaking. Go figure when pulling into the bay they try and ask for money to do a brake inspection when it’s on their website for a free one but didn’t know anything about it. Left it there for 3 hours before they call and tell me it’s ready and I would be new pads and they could resurface the rotors for $500. I decided to order all new rotors and pads and have my mechanic put them on well turns out nothing was wrong with rotors or front pads but my back calipers are seized up and only the inside pads needs replaced. If a technician actually did the brake inspection they would have noticed all the pads are good minus the 2 because the caliper. So clearly I left my truck there 3 hours for nothing.

I have been a customer here since 2006. All my family members drive Fords. Service department has deteriorated. Left a message for the Service manager, General manager and principal owner stating I had an issue. None of them bothered to call me back. Very disappointed.

Regardless if you are shopping locally or purchasing out of state, I highly recommend you ask for Joey. From the first moment we spoke over the phone, he was nothing but courteous, polite and professional. No games, no gimmicks, simply great customer service. Thanks again Joey!

Just bought a new to me 2021 F150 from the guys at Blue Springs Ford. Javier Ferrer was extremely helpful and thorough in the buying process. He answered any questions I had and promptly. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again from the group at Blue Springs Ford.

Went into dealer and was looking for a particular car. Manger had Laura help me out. I had a price in mind and she was able to make it happen! Finance did great did not push me into what I didn’t want. Blue Springs Ford did a great job! They are always willing to help out and answer questions! I would recommend Blue Springs Ford and Laura for any car needs!

It's unfortunate that they post on their site several vehicles that are not available. It seems very deceiving and I feel like it is done just to pull you in. I asked about at least four vehicles and they were either already purchased or they could not be purchased because of some type of problem. I did ask why they were still on the site and was not given a satisfactory answer. I will never go back

Service Dept issues: I purchased my first new vehicle from Blue Springs Ford in 1990 and have continued to take my family's vehicles to the dealership for routine service and other repairs ever since. In late December, I called to schedule my Ford vehicle (bought used, is now 4 years old with 45k miles) for warranty work. The service advisor informed me that BSF Service no longer works with third party warranty companies AT ALL, and that I would have to work on reimbursement with my warranty company directly. That service advisor came across in a tone that was condescending and maybe even happy to tout the new policy. I have had the same, very reputable warranty company policy on our last four vehicles. A Ford Motor Co. extended warranty is not always available on purchases of used Ford vehicles. I had a second and third call with another advisor and I received an estimate of 4.5 hrs labor, $120 for the part, and was on the schedule. After repairs were completed I went to pay my bill and it was $200 more than estimated. The cashier said that I was charged 5.5 hrs for labor (it could have been 5, but my recollection is fuzzy months later) and that is up to a 22% increase in labor charges. Where I work, we are only allowed to recoup 10% over what we have estimated for our clients. Later that day, I took yet another look at it and there was also a $30 charge for 'shop supplies' that I was never advised about. After submitting for reimbursement from my warranty company, they only reimbursed 4.5 hrs labor, which was what their system estimated. They only reimbursed $60 of the $120 that I was billed for the part. Their reasoning was because the going rate for a Ford OEM part was $60. I did some sleuthing on the internet myself, and sure enough, even Ford Motor Co. had the OEM part for just under $60. I feel somewhat cheated by a business that I have stayed loyal to for 34 years. I have found another local Ford Service Dept. that will work directly with third party warranty companies and will now have my future business for routine service and repairs. When I volunteered to them that I have been a longtime BSF customer but was looking for a new dealership because of change in policy related to warranty work, he said that I was the fifth person to call that day having mentioned that. Although, I cannot confirm or deny that. I will miss the friendly gentleman that makes sure everyone in the Service waiting area is comfortable and provides rides when necessary. Most of the service advisors are working hard to take care of customers, as well. The cashiers are also always friendly, helpful, and quick. Any salespeople that I've ever dealt with were positive, straighforward, and helpful.

Had my truck in Tuesday for my scheduled oil change under my warranty package. Saw after i got home that they didn't put a new sticker inside for the next oil change but not a big deal. Then leaving work Friday I heard a ticking sound from inside my truck so I pulled over to find that the tech didn't put the oil cap back on either. Called the service department and talked to the service advisor i believe his name was David told me he wouldn't have a tech to look at it till Monday and if I could find the oil cap to put it back on and drive it home and he would go talk to the tech and a manager and call me back. Here it is the end of business Monday and haven't got a call back yet. I work for ford so I'll be filling a complaint with the company about this dealership. This is the 3rd issue I've had with this dealership in just over a year of buying the truck. Choose a different dealer they're incompetent here never had an issue with metro ford or the lee summit ford dealer

I have bought many vehicles over the past 30+ years. What makes a good dealership is the care they show their customers after the purchase. My wife has cancer and I have to work out of town Monday - Friday. I had to drive back and get a fuel injector replaced. This is a simple repair that Blue Springs Ford evidently doesn't know how to do. My advice to Blue Springs Ford is don't sell vehicles and push protection insurance on vehicles you can't work on. WE WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!

They are scammers. My husband inquired about the availability of a car and they scheduled a test drive and said it would be warmed up and ready to go that afternoon. Two hours later he arrived for the test drive (after driving 45 minutes there) and I was half way there when they notified him they made a mistake and had sold the car last night. They tried to talk him into a car that was double the price of the one advertised. They had hours to call to tell him the car had actually sold before he got there if that was the truth, but they failed to do so. Grossly poor customer service and best, scamming people with a classic bait and switch at worst. Don’t waste your time.

Highly recommend going through Blue Springs Ford for your vehicle needs. I recently purchased a 2024 Ford Maverick through BSF, and worked with Taylor Warren. From the test drive, to answering my many questions (I had researched before buying, but still had in the moment questions), being open and honest about the truck and it's features, and no pressure buying all led to a very different and positive purchasing outcome than what I've experienced in the past at other dealerships. His ability to connect with me, understand what I was looking for specifically in the Ford Maverick versus the other vehicle I was circling (the Subaru Crosstrek), and speaking to its capabilities--given my needs and use of the truck--that helped me make the decision to buy the Maverick. While we weren't able to talk for an extended period of time, I also want to shout out Tyson as well; very kind, encouraging, and helpful.

Service techs have almost no idea what they are talking about. Bought tires here and instead of owning the warranty wanted to suggest 5 things that would make it my problem. When the first one was needed alignment we'll you did that oh then it's tires didn't get rotated again you did that. Then it changed to rear end suspension well all that wa was done before the alignment again not my issue.

We were making a cross country move and our F150's starter motor went out after we had stopped for dinner in KC. Ended up getting towed to Blue Springs Ford and showed back up the next morning to see about the fix. Bre Cantrell and the Ford team were extremely helpful in getting us in to diagnose and back on the road in a very timely manner (same day) after replacing the starter. Running into an issue like this was not fun especially during a move, but thankful we were able to get back at it and continue on our journey after this quick repair. It was very much appreciated!

Sevice department lacks basic customer service skills. Communication to customer on status of vehicle has been non-existent during entire visit. How does a 10 am appointment for service not get attention until the following day? This speaks highly to the quality of management running your operations.

I have had mix experience with blue prongs ford service. I have had good experience with dealership mechanics diagnosing problem and fixing problems with my 2013 Lincoln Mkx. I did buy 4 tires 2 years ago. I checked and didn’t buy insurance with tires. Bought higher quality BF Goodyear tires. Total cost was about $1200 with alignment. Two years later one tire developed 2”x4” bubble on side wall. Called and nothing they can do. The other issue I had with these tires is all four tires lost air. Every month for 2 years I had to refill tire pressure. Tires would lose 5-10lbs pressure every few weeks bringing in low tire alarm. In my opinion did not get a good tire or install job. Going to try a tire store on future purchases.

30 Year customer multiple vehicles I bought over the years of all maintenance has always been done there. Took my wife's car in for brakes back in July car started making noises a few weeks later. Took it back in stated that the brakes were making noise on the rear end. They decided that both wheel bearings needed to be replaced $1,700 charge. Pick it up the next day so we can make it home and it's still making the same noise that it was brought in for immediately. Took it back up there they looked at it again and determined that the brake job in July wasn't done correctly so the tech never looked at the brakes in the first place and immediately said the wheel bearings were bad. Pretty sure I got charged $1,700 for no reason. Service manager basically just said sorry

Where do I start. It was my place to go. Wife got a SUV from them about a year ago. She literally hasnt even put many miles on it. Since getting the SUV has been in fords garage majority of the time. Day 1- engine problems returned car they had it for a couple weeks. Got it back and exact same day transmission problem car would get stuck in a gear and shake badly so returned say day in shop again for couple weeks. So first month of car had it for maybe an hour. Since then about a year this is what else has had to be done. Motor cam phasers Another transmission part New radiator Internal wiring Battery Spark plugs Turbocharger wastegate (3 times) Turbocharger wastgate wiring Engine harness wiring Radiator hose tube Starter Since first month we called our sales rep to get out of it and we get the run around or no call back. Now after having the SUV in for the 4th time over same issue they are offering to trade it out and start over. So new down-payment, new sales tax, and a year's worth of payments down the drain.

I purchased a 2018 Expedition from Blue Springs Ford in 2022, and it’s been a challenging experience from the start. When we picked up the vehicle, the battery was dead, and it needed to be jumped—something I assisted with personally. The vehicle also had a rattling noise on startup, which I was told was due to the belts, but this issue kept getting worse over time. From the beginning, there were issues with the paperwork. I was told I was being financed through my preferred lender, but my paperwork reflected Wells Fargo instead. The trade-in allowance I was offered didn’t match what appeared on my paperwork. When I took this to the DMV, they informed me the paperwork had discrepancies, meaning I had to pay extra just to get the vehicle registered. As time went on, the startup noise got worse. After my first oil change at another dealership, I was informed the Expedition was losing coolant. In May, during a trip to Florida, the engine began misfiring and showing drivetrain errors. It turned out the timing chains, tensioners, and phasers were bad, which was the true cause of the noise. Parts were backordered, and we ended up making hundreds of calls ourselves to try and source them. During our three weeks in Florida, Blaine Balderston (owner) and Randy Smith (salesman) assured us we’d be reimbursed for rental car expenses. We were in the end as promised. We managed to limp the vehicle back to Missouri, making several stops to cool it off and add more coolant. From this point on, we were told multiple times random parts needed replacement, some of which Blaine at Blue Springs Ford covered. Over time, we had to replace or repair hoses, the water pump, radiator cap, thermostat, cam phaser sensors, cams, timing chain, cam phasers, spark plugs, wheel bearings, rotors, brakes, and more—an extensive list while trying to track down the root of the issues. Eventually, I took the Expedition to Bob Sight Ford, where Tommy, my service advisor, called us and let us know they quickly identified a bad #6 cylinder. Bob Sight replaced the engine, and it runs significantly better now, without the prior engine symptoms. However, they noted that the transmission still had issues—something I had been trying to address at Blue Springs Ford for over a year and a half. It will try rolling off in park! Throughout this experience, Blaine tried to find us loaners but often couldn’t, and months of downtime accumulated while waiting for or undergoing repairs. They have assured me that the vehicle had no prior issues, but I later learned that the previous owner had similar problems and the vehicle had been involved in multiple incidents that were not disclosed. The staff experience varied greatly. Blaine, and Jennifer made great efforts to secure loaners when possible, but my service advisor, Steve, often seemed forgetful and even dismissive of recurring issues. I literally requested another advisor many times but it always circled back to Steve being the one delegated to handle our issues. Sam, the service manager, was condescending, and downplayed the severity of the vehicle’s problems, like the overheating to +401 degrees-and misfires. Some staff even made inappropriate suggestions, like advising me to “put it in a ditch” and file an insurance claim—something I later verified was illegal. I asked about switching out to another similar MAX and was told it was a lemon also. While they did attempt to offer at times some compensation for the vehicle’s issues, and our out of pocket expenses, the stress, time, and expenses involved have been overwhelming. As of October 20th, my attempts to contact Blaine have gone unanswered. I have let Jalen my Ford corporate rep know this as he also hasn’t been contacted back. To you I say, I can’t help but feel that if Blaine’s father, Bob (whom I hold in high regard) had been involved, this situation might have been handled more effectively. I speak this from experience knowing in my heart that Bob was a great man to my family when I was growing up.

I came here a yr ago to look for a car and met an awesome salesman Javier. He was upfront, honest, and straight to the point. Although I didn’t end up purchasing a car from here at that time. A year later when looking for another car he was the only salesman I continued to think about. So I can back and he was still just as amazing as the first time I met him. He worked hard to find me the perfect car that I loved that was within my budget and I couldn’t have been more happy than I am now! Would recommend him to anyone looking for a new ride!!

Second car I have bought from blue springs ford. Specifically from Chase. He goes above and beyond for his customers. While I was in finance he even transferred some stuff from my old car to new. Ask for him if you want top notch service. They are priced under their competition, and canget the deal done fast. I’ll be back in 2 years.

Horrible service. I dropped off a vehicle Friday 21st at 12:00pm for regular maintenance (oil change and tire rotation) and a diagnostic (noise coming from the right rear tire.) was told that they wouldn’t have an answer for me until Monday the 23rd my service advisors name was Alex. I hadn’t been contacted all day Monday so I decided to wait until the end of the day to see if they would contact me with a status update they did not. I called up Tuesday and they said they didn’t know where the confusion happened but that they had to order parts per the noise and that it would be ready in a day or two. I decided to wait until Thursday to see if the would contact me letting me know if my vehicle was ready, again they did not contact me and I was beginning to get frustrated as it has been almost a week with no updates or anything. It wasn’t until Friday the 27th I called again to see if I could talk to a manager about the whole situation and was sent to voicemail twice by both managers I left messages to see if they would contact me back but was left dry. I know one of there names was Chris but could not remember the other one. The only one helpful in this whole situation was the Cierra (sorry if I misspelled the name) but she was the only one that was really helpful from trying to check the status on my vehicle even though she was not my advisor to trying to get me ahold of a manager which I was not able to. Coincidentally I revived a call not even 20 minutes later after venting my frustration that my vehicle was ready for pick up. Overall I can say that this was a horrible experience and I will not be coming back to get any services done here. I could not even receive a call back from the service managers to see why I wasn’t getting any updates and why I had to be the one calling for updates.
